The dolly family
Founded in 1981 by Armando Grottesi, Cinetech Italiana fulfills the requests of the most demanding camera operators and grips.
Our company was established when a young but competent camera technician and lens expert decided to channel the experience acquired on set into a different project: design a line of new generation gear-based hydraulic camera dollies.
Forty years later, Cinetech Italiana can count on an internationally proven reputation, earned thanks to its constant growth in order to follow the fast-moving changes in the movie industry.

Respectively President of the company and Head of Sales Department, Armando and Ekaterina are the faces of Cinetech Italiana and proudly represent our team of hardworking and highly specialized workers.

HOW WE WORK
Chain of production
All of Cinetech products, from the smallest accessory to the largest dolly, are designed and manufactured in our factory in Rome.
The work process starts with a proper study of the market demand, usually followed by a brainstorming session between our President Armando, still aware of the needs in movie and television production, and Luigi Farotto and Sandro Ripa, committed members of the team.
This round of discussion is the breeding ground in which mere ideas turn into solid projects and meticulous designs, ready to reach the workshop and the skilled hands of the rest of the team.
Once in the workshop, we pay attention to every detail to make sure that our new product meets the highest quality standards in the industry. We test every feature down to the last piece in order to ensure maximum stability and smoothness in operation and reliability of our dollies. Ekaterina Dorokhina, Head of Sales Department and Armando’s long-standing assistant takes care of customers, ensuring that the process of order, shipment and after-sale support becomes easy and efficient.
